Ingestics is a WordPress automation tool built by AutoAPIWP—created because no existing plugin handled the complete journey from external data to published WordPress content.
AutoAPIWP builds WordPress automation tools. Ingestics was created by founder B. Viren after an extensive search for a plugin that could fetch data from a REST API, map the fields, and publish posts automatically turned up only half-solutions. So we built the complete pipeline ourselves.
From a real-world need nobody had solved
The founder of AutoAPIWP, B. Viren, brings over two decades of professional experience across multiple domains—technical and business alike. One consistent thread ran through it all: a deep inclination toward building with technology. That turned into action when a project demanded fetching live data from external REST APIs and RSS feeds, then automatically publishing the results as WordPress content. It sounded straightforward; the reality was far harder. Plugin after plugin was evaluated. Some handled API connections but had no publishing pipeline. Others managed RSS aggregation but stopped short of structured post creation. Several required buying separate modules just to assemble a partial solution. The market had half-solutions—nobody had built the complete pipeline. So we did.
A problem no existing plugin had solved
The WordPress ecosystem had plenty of tools—just not one that handled the complete workflow from external data source to published content.
Half the job, every time
Every plugin handled one lane—connect to an API, or display a feed, or import a file—but none closed the loop to a published post.
Forced paid modules
Plugins that got close required multiple paid add-ons—pay for the core, pay for post creation, pay for scheduling.
Fragmented setups
A partial workflow meant installing several plugins, configuring each independently, and owning the failures when they did not cooperate.
Connectors that could not publish
API tools were built to display data in shortcodes—not to create native WordPress posts.
